Okay. No one likes to talk about it. No one wants to talk about it. Usually, no one DOES talk about it. But when we find a product that makes it easier for you to deal with…we are going to talk about it! What is it??? It’s Wearever products. They are for people who have a few issues with…gasp…incontinence. There. I said it and the blog didn’t blow up.
I decided to let a few guest reviewers give you their opinions on these products since they’re the ones dealing with it. Let’s start with Leesa, who tried the lace trim panties.
I am not an old woman. But I have had four kids. If you’ve had kids, you know what can happen when you cough, sneeze or laugh. I deal with it…but I was thrilled to get to try out these panties, not only because they work so well, but they’re lovely! I chose the black ones. They have a super absorbent sewn-in pad that is extremely comfortable, and these can be washed 200 – 250 times! There’s just no comparison between these and other ladies’ incontinence panties. I am a believer, and I’m getting ready to order several more of these! It’s so nice to be able to have something that not only works, but is stylish!
And here’s Janie…she tried out the diabetic socks.
I have been a diabetic for many years, and one of my problems is poor circulation in my feet and legs. I try to stay active, and regular socks tend to get very uncomfortable, especially around my ankles. I would often find myself ‘scrunching’ the socks down to loosen them. But these Buster Brown Socks from Wearever are perfect for me! The feet are just like regular socks, but the part that goes on your leg are made of an ultra-comfy mesh that is not uncomfortably tight. I have never seen socks like this, and I love them. I can wear them for several hours without discomfort to my ankles and legs. I am really enjoying these and I’m so happy that I had the opportunity to try them out!
And last, me…with the mattress protector pad.
Why do I need a mattress protector? Well, although he would be unhappy with me sharing this with thousands of my closest friends (you all) via my blog, our little guy, who’s five, is still having problems waking himself up at night to go potty. We are also trying out a cool potty alarm that we are having some success with, but until this problem is solved, this mattress pad is doing the trick!
The bed pad is 36 inches by 32 inches with three layers of protection. The 19 inch long wings attached to either side of the bed pad are long enough to tuck under one side of a bed or both (if twin or hospital type bed). The wings tuck under the mattress and prevent the pad from slipping or moving.
The top layer of the bed pad is made from an 80/20 cotton/polyester blend called IBEX. This top layer is quilted to a top quality, 8 oz poly soaker which holds the moisture. The third, and bottom layer, is the moisture proof layer; it is made from a knitted, vinyl, barrier fabric. The bed pad is finished with double bound edges for a long life of many washings.
This amazing mattress pad will hold up to 60 ounces of liquid.
