Schwan’s Home Food Delivery: Something For Everyone!

Here in the south, we know food. We especially know comfort food! And barbecue. And dessert.

You may be like me: you’ve heard about Schwan’s food delivery and you may have even seen the yellow trucks with that ubiquitous swan logo driving around town, but you never gave it much thought. Listen up. Think again!

I recently had the opportunity to try some Schwan’s products (I really should say I tried the Schwan’s experience!) and I am totally impressed!

First…the website. This is where you place your orders. It’s extremely user friendly. You should have no trouble navigating the different sections, categories and menu items.

Then there’s the super food selection. They have it all! The hardest thing about the whole process was deciding what to try! I love the fact that they have several meals that all you have to do is pop them into the oven and voila…dinner! Last week we had the Homestyle Chicken Bake (serves 5). It had a flaky crust, chunks of delicious veggies, tender chicken all in a savory sauce. All I had to do was pop it into the oven and in about an hour, dinner was served.

On to delivery. Yes, I didn’t even have to get out of my pajamas for this food! It came right to my door. Two delivery guys showed up right on time and were super helpful and friendly, sharing with me their favorite Schwan’s choices. They couldn’t have been nicer!

Earlier this week, we tried the barbecued ribs with Schwan’s mashed potatoes on the side. Oh my. The ribs were so tender that they were falling off the bone. As much as we enjoy barbecue, I have NEVER done ribs at home…too messy and time-consuming. Not Schwan’s. All I had to do was pop them in the oven. Easy, right? Thirty minutes later we had barbecue that was reminiscent of our favorite barbecue joint! And the potatoes! Heaven on a plate (or palate!). I just stuck them in the microwave with a little milk and butter and they were “slap your mama” good. You would swear that they were homemade. Thick and creamy with just the right texture.

And on to dessert. One of Mr. Coupondipity’s all time favorite sweet things (besides me) used to be ice cream “Chipwiches” – the ice cream sandwich made with chocolate chip cookies. But then we couldn’t find them anywhere…until now! Schwan’s has them! I ordered up a dozen and they are almost gone. Deeeeelish!

And we wouldn’t be Coupondipity without some kind of coupon for you, now would we?

Would you believe me if I told you that you could feed your family for 2 days (breakfast & lunch) for about $20 each day? If you use the $10 off $50 coupon below, here’s what you can get for $40…
