Product Review: CLR Barbecue Grill Cleaner

What happens when you let Mr. Coupondipity become ‘blogger for a day’? Well, I’ll tell you.

The conversation started a bit like this:
Me: Honey, the people that make those great CLR products sent me some grill cleaner. You wanna try it out?
Mr. C.: Sure. I’ll try it.
Me: Cool! You can be a product review blogger for the day!
Mr. C.: No – I’m not writing a blog post. But I’ll clean the grill.
Me: I’ll write the blog post. Do we have any steaks?
Mr. C.: Yep. I’ll get started.

Fast forward about 30 minutes – I have been working hard at the computer, pretty much ignoring Mr. Coupondipity.

Mr. C.: Honey…steaks are ready!
Me: Oh my gosh. Smells SO good! How did the CLR grill cleaner work?
Mr. C: That stuff works great!! You should see the grill!
Me: Okay – just email me the pictures.
Mr. C: Uhhhh. Pictures? What pictures? You didn’t say anything about pictures!

I have been doing product reviews for a couple of years now. Mr. C. takes a LOT of the photos for me. But evidently, he doesn’t know that a product review requires a photo. Whaaaat? But I’m not complaining – I got a superb steak dinner out of the deal, AND a clean grill!

The CLR Barbecue Grill Cleaner really does work great. Mr. C. usually ends up scraping, and scraping…and scraping. But this product made it easy!
