I have been looking for a single cup coffee brewer for a long time. Recently, the great folks at Nescafe sent me one of their Dolce Gusto Piccolo machines to try out, and share my thoughts with you. Four words sum it up: I LOVE this machine! I don’t make a lot of coffee at home (at least, not until now!). Either I had to throw out a lot of leftover coffee, or I didn’t have creamer, and it just wasn’t worth the hassle. With the Dolce Gusto – problems are solved!

I can make a single, perfect, delicious cup of coffee in about one minute. And for the coffee drinks that use steamed/frothed milk, they have you covered. You simply use two of the nifty little capsules: one makes steamed/frothy milk and the other makes a fragrant, perfectly brewed latte macchiato (my personal fave!).
And the other thing that I really love is that this particular coffee brewer (and they have many that you can choose from) is very small and fits wonderfully on my counter. Although it doesn’t take up much space, it works just as well as the bigger machines.
