I really love it when I can have boutique quality items at ‘unboutique’ prices! Recently, the great folks at Colgate-Palmolive sent me a selection of their brand new Softsoap Décor Collection Liquid Hand Soaps to try out and I have to tell you, I love them!!
I was immediately impressed by their striking appearance right out of the box. Each bottle has a backing on it that shows through with some of the lovely flowers that grace the scents inside.
This is the kind of small detail that really makes this product stand out from the rest. The labels themselves are simple, yet elegant.
Of course, none of this would matter unless the soap itself was a quality product. I’m happy to tell you that it’s superb. I really love the new scent combinations and I couldn’t wait to try each one out. For your indulgent hand washing experience, you can try:
- Peony & Plum
- Orchid Petals and Mint Water
- Wild Basil & Lime
My favorite? The Wild Basil & Lime. There are lots of reasons, but the bottom line is that it smells delicious! I live in Florida where citrus scented products abound, and Italy is one of my very favorite places to visit (we try to go every few years). The aroma of basil always reminds me of a certain favorite little trattoria there. So the combination of Basil & Lime reminds me both of home and my favorite vacation!
Don’t get me wrong; the other two scents are heavenly, too.
I guarantee your sink would be proud showing off any of these three! And at only a $2.49 suggested retail price, you can get all three! They’re available at Target, Walmart, CVS, Rite Aid and large food stores.
