The Indie Music Scene in Canada is huge! Recently, TuneCore caught up with EDM Duo Adventure Club to talk about Canada’s massive influence in Indie Music.
Just last week they had NXNE in Toronto, and over 80 TuneCore artists were there to show of their mad skills. Adventure Club says that being independent gives them a much greater say in the creative process. They don’t have to listen to what an executive thinks may work better for their band. They’re also not trying to push as much music on to the public as possible, but rather want to take time and care with what they release, making sure that it’s authentic and real for themselves and their fans.
Adventure Club decided to partner with TuneCore for a variety of reasons: they found that when TuneCore put their music on a multitude of sites, like iTunes, that fans were finding them a lot easier, and they have found TuneCore’s variety of reports to be extremely helpful.
