With Facebook audio recognition, it’s really easy for Facebook users to share their favorite music with their friends – whatever song they happen to be listening to. As a TuneCore artist, you can add your music to Facebook so that Facebook can recognize your song and everyone using Facebook can share your music with their friends!
Basically, Facebook users turn on the audio recognition feature then they can use their phone’s microphone to hear what song is playing. If the audio recognition finds a match, then Facebook users can choose to add the song to a post. The Facebook post will include the song name, cover art and artist name.
Add Facebook one-time, with the cost based on your current number of releases active with TuneCore Music Distribution. After you add Facebook, then whenever you release more music with TuneCore, we’ll send your new music automatically to Facebook, at no additional cost. It takes about a week for your music to be available in Facebook.
