Recently, the great folks at Woolzies sent me a box of their super cool Dryer Balls to check out and share my thoughts with you. This is an amazing product!
First – the results that you can ‘see’. I put all six of the Woolzies Dryer Balls in my dryer, which at the time was a load of towels and sheets. I don’t know about you, but for me, sheets get tangled up in the dryer and don’t dry well, unless I stop the cycle halfway through and untangle them. Or dry them for another complete cycle. One of the things that the Woolzies will do is bounce around in your dryer, and create space between your laundry, allowing more air to circulate. This dries laundry faster, reduces wrinkles and helps to keep laundry from getting tangled or all knotted up. What a difference! This load dried about 20 minutes faster – that saves money and electricity!
Now, what you can’t ‘see’. And this comes right from the Woolzies Website: Regular fabric softeners, both in liquid and sheet form, contain numerous harsh chemicals which are toxic to the environment and even more dangerous to many people who have serious allergic reactions to them. The elderly, ailing and small children can suffer from a variety of negative symptoms which are really just allergic reactions to the harsh chemicals contained in these commercial fabric softening products.

2. You can reduce static cling even more by simply rolling up a piece of plain kitchen aluminum foil into the size of one of the Woolzies balls and placing it in the dryer together with the 6 Woolzies dryer balls.
3. The secret to heavenly scented laundry:
After the laundry is dry, take out 2 of the Woolzies balls and apply desired amount of pure essential oil to each ball. Toss the 2 back into the dryer and run on Air Fluff (no heat) for 10 minutes. Your laundry will smell heavenly and the scent will linger for several days! The reason for using no heat is because hot air destroys the delicate essential oils. I tried this with some lavender essential oil and it worked great!
