First, let me give you a little of the history of this product. In 1996, little Maty was born with severe heart defects and without a spleen. By the time she was five years old, she’d undergone three major heart surgeries. This left her with some difficult medical issues and a weakened immune system. It just so happened when my products arrived, I had been battling a nasty cold with a lingering cough that was keeping me up at night. I took some of the natural cough syrup and used a little of the vapor rub, and sleep came a great deal easier that night! It was great to know that not only was this product working effectively, it was completely safe and natural for me to use.
Although most people think of a baby chest rub for when your little one has a cough or cold, I used Maty’s Baby Chest Rub for another reason. I have a little 3 month-old grandbaby, and during his last visit, I rubbed some of the chest rub on him mainly because the scent is heavenly! It is a combination of eucalyptus, lavender and chamomile, and helps to strengthen a baby’s immune system. It was extremely calming, and I have to admit, I am tempted to use it myself! Okay. I’ll admit it. I have used it myself…it’s way better than a cup of tea!
