Are you under the impression that costumes are just for Halloween? Surely you jest! The great folks at Anytime Costumes were kind enough to send me this awesome Knight Costume for our little guy to try out. And they have a lot of different options of Knight Clothing for both kids and adults to have fun with, not to mention Renaissance costumes and theme costumes of every style, color and size.
We (Little B) chose this particular costume because it came with a sword and shield, and what little boy isn’t wildly excited about swords, shields, and general mayhem? We have been learning about the medieval era in some of his schooling, so he was thrilled to play one of the characters of that unique historical period. If you homeschool, or if your child is learning about a certain time in history, make it come alive for them by getting them a costume, having them dress up and ‘give a speech’ about it. When learning is made relevant, it tends to be absorbed far better!
The costume arrived just a few days after we ordered it, and it was well packaged. I was thrilled to see that the quality of the costume was superb. This is NOT a cheap little costume that you buy at the big box superstore. And this one is made such that he can wear it and have fun with it for a few years.
