The Rollie Eggmaster – One of our Faves!

One of the coolest parts of being a blogger is getting to try all kinds of amazing products to share with our readers. Recently, we were sent a Rollie Eggmaster to try out, and share our thoughts with you…and they were gracious enough to let us give one away, too!

To be honest, some of the ‘As Seen On TV’ products don’t really work like advertised. Happily, the Rollie Eggmaster does EXACTLY what they tell you it will do, and not only that, it’s fun, quick, and easy. You really can’t get a better product…I don’t see how they could possibly improve it.

We decided to try making a ‘Sausage Egg Dog’. And I’m going to show you just how easy this is.

1. Plug in your Rollie and watch for the green light to come on (that indicates you’re ‘Ready to Roll’!!!) Spray the inside of the chamber with a squirt or two of non-stick cooking spray.

2. All you’ll need for this is 1 or 2 eggs and a pre-cooked sausage link. I used the Johnsonville sausage links that are about the size of hot dogs.

3. Thread a wooden skewer through the sausage link (your Rollie will come with a small supply of skewers).

4. Crack the egg into the Rollie and then insert the sausage link.

After five or six minutes, your Sausage Egg Dog will literally pop out of the Rollie. So cool! This is the part that the kids adore!

Isn’t that just the coolest thing ever??? And clean up is a snap – since it’s ultra non-stick, just take the sponge-tipped brush (looks like a baby bottle brush) that comes with your Rollie and squirt a few drops of soap on the sponge, then wet it. Insert it up and down a few times into the Rollie chamber, then gently pour clean water inside to rinse. (Don’t submerge the Rollie…you’ll drown it).

Just want eggs? Follow the instructions above using two eggs and omit the sausage. Easy breezy. And you can also make ‘Egg Dogs’ by using a hot dog instead of sausage.

This is the perfect breakfast on the go, or high protein after school snack.
