Book Review: And Life Comes Back

I have to admit, one of my greatest fears in life is losing my husband. We are soul mates. We are connected. Even after 21 years of marriage, our relationship is vibrant, breathtaking and just so much darn fun! He is 12 years older than me, so if I listen to statistics, he will probably make his way to the hereafter before I will (where he will be living it up walking streets of gold while I’m left here to cope…probably badly).

This book, “And Life Comes Back” by Tricia Lott Williford is a raw, honest and very authentic true account of her life after she unexpectedly lost her young husband. She was left with two young children and a gaping hole where her soul had been. She tackles issues that I would never have thought about, but with every problem, she handles it with grace and dignity, although sometimes not immediately…that’s where she is so incredibly real.

If you have lost a spouse, or if this is a fear that you harbor, this book is for you. Or if you just want to read a really, really good account of how hope can make life livable, this book is for you.
