Book Review: Mark of Evil

Can you imagine waking up one day to find that millions of people have literally vanished? Friends, family, acquaintances, co-workers, simply gone. Just like the Bible said would happen, but you didn’t actually believe it. But it’s real.

Ethan March is still on earth, and has become a Christian. He is part of a group of others who are still on the earth and they are hiding from the Global Alliance Police.

The really scary thing is that since the Biblical Rapture has come true, then it’s likely that other Biblical prophesies will come true as well, and that means the emergence of the ‘Anti-Christ’, a being so evil that he will stop at nothing to attain complete domination of the world.  Technology is already paving the way for this to happen, as everyone is required to have a microchip with a barcode implanted. There are robots policing the citizens, and drones who keep an eye on everyone and everything.

Ethan and his group, known as ‘The remnant’ are working hard to fight for their own survival. They will not be able to stop the Anti-Christ, but they may be able to convince others to accept Christ and ultimately experience eternity in heaven.

This is the 4th book in this series and I would recommend reading the first three before reading this one. Although it could be a standalone book, readers who have not read the earlier books will not fully appreciate the character and plot dynamics.
I received a copy of this book for review from the Book Look Blogger review program but the opinion of it is my own and was not solicited, nor was a positive review required.
