Colgate has recently introduced a line of oral care products that replenish and polish for stronger, healthy enamel. Your teeth are important. You only get one set (of real, adult ones, anyway), so you want to keep them strong, healthy, and looking good!
Recently, the great folks at Colgate sent me some of their new enamel health toothpaste and an enamel health toothbrush to try out. I haven’t used it long enough to really know how well it protects my enamel, but I can tell you a few things. The toothpaste makes my teeth feel ultra clean! I think this is because this toothpaste helps to smooth the enamel in two ways:
1. Helps replenish natural calcium and other minerals back into weakened enamel, filling rough spots and making it stronger, and,
2. Gently polishes the enamel surface with gentle micro-polishing action, so germs are less likely to stick to teeth.
And it has a great, fresh minty taste! When your enamel isn’t properly maintained, it can become rough and more susceptible to damage. Have you noticed that your dental hygienist always polishes your teeth? Now you can polish at home!
And I LOVE the toothbrush. There’s something so “clean feeling” when you start using a new toothbrush anyway, and this one has some great features. First of all, the bristles are 48% softer than other ordinary manual toothbrushes. It also has a cheek and tongue cleaner to help you remove 96% more bacteria than brushing your teeth alone with an ordinary flat trim toothbrush, and the polishing whitening cups gently remove stains and the raised cleaning tip helps get into hard-to-reach areas.
The toothbrush fits comfortably in my hand, and when I’m done using both the Colgate Enamel Health toothbrush and toothpaste, my mouth and teeth feel beautifully clean and fresh!
