When it comes to handbags, I sort of have my favorite designer. Can you tell? But notice the one that stands out from all the rest? THAT is a bag from SUSU, and it is my new favorite! Sorry, other designer handbags. It’s time for you to take a break.
I love purses and handbags. They always fit! I don’t grow out of them. And a great handbag will perfectly complete your ensemble of the day.
Until a few weeks ago, I wasn’t familiar with SUSU bags. But when I was sent one to review, I immediately fell in love (and started planning on which I would get next!).
Let’s start by talking about the quality of this bag. Mine is the Murray – Medium Crossbody Leather Satchel in Burgundy.
The bag arrived packaged in a soft fabric bag to protect it. It was like a surprise within a surprise peeking out!
I was immediately impressed by the striking appearance of the leather. It is decadently rich, with a pebbled finish and I could tell right away that this bag was created of the highest quality materials. Just take a look at this gorgeous leather and the perfection of the stitch work!
Then I inspected the hardware. I hate it when the hardware (zippers, clasps, fasteners, etc.) doesn’t hold up through daily use. But it’s clear that this is a bag that will last a lifetime due to the quality of the craftsmanship.

I love also that the bottom of the bag has pegs that protect it from the surfaces it sits on. This keeps the leather in great condition and allows your bag to last and last.
The Murray is 11 inches wide, 8 1/2 inches high and has a 6 inch depth. It also comes with an optional shoulder strap.
This bag is a great accessory for your favorite jeans and graphic tee, but it would be equally as stunning for a night on the town. I am headed to Europe in a few months, and this will be the only bag that I’ll take with me. It’s roomy enough for everything I need, and the crossbody form and zipper closure gives it added security.
Sometimes you find a bag that just “fits”. And I believe that SUSU has a bag for you.
