The Daniel Plan focuses on five really good ‘F Words’!
Faith – You won’t be doing this on your own. God will help you as you rely on him and trust him to give you the ability and power to change what you want to change.
Food – Simple real, fresh, delicious, nutrient-packed foods that are easy to cook, foods that come from a farmer’s field rather than a factory, food that traveled the shortest distance from the field to your fork – that is what we should eat.
Fitness – Despite all the research surrounding the benefits of regular exercise, the only one that will make a difference is the program you do consistently.
Focus – In a world where so many distractions compete for your attention, it is more important than ever to stop the busyness in your head and focus on God’s plan and priorities for your life. The bottom line is that whatever gets your attention gets you.
Friends – When you have friends to go with you on the journey toward better health, you are more likely to succeed.
The Daniel Plan is a veritable bounty of great information about food. And what I like best is that most of what is suggested in the book is pure common sense. Eat whole foods. Exercise. Don’t eat junk food.
The two main ideas that really resonate with me are that you need to rely on God to walk with you through this journey, and you need a group of people who will travel with you. I loved that the book is really up front with the fact that this is not a quick fix plan. And it fully explains how you have to change your thinking to effect change in your body.
The entire contents of the book may not work for you, but if you’re dedicated to getting healthy, you will find some invaluable information.

This post sound very good.
