The first thing that we noticed: Mr. Coupondipity is a classically-trained artist, and he was thoroughly impressed by the illustrations. They are top notch! The book is huge, and so doing all of these illustrations is a work of mammoth proportions. It just goes to show you how much care was put into this book.
Although this is not really a ‘Bible’ per se, it has over 200 stories in order from the actual Bible, all written in easy-to-understand language for kids, and the super hero/adventure aspect of the book makes kids want to read more and more.
As you can see, our little guy even has on his super cool Superman pajamas to read the Action Bible. I realize that there are some who may have an issue with calling a book of Bible stories a ‘Bible’. But my thoughts are that anything that can encourage a little one to explore and get excited about God’s Word is good in my book!
